KAYLA PHAKOUSONH

Hey hi hello! My name in Kayla Phakousonh and I have been a stylist for 9 years. I was also an artistic educator for 5 years. Doing hair is my passion and I really enjoy being creative with my craft.

I’d like to think of myself as a problem solver. I specialize in color corrections. I try my best to figure out the what and why, then find solutions for everyone’s hair. I like to take my time to give thorough consultations and listen to all of your needs and wants.

Education is so important to me! You’ll usually see me attending a class or even just watching an educational video online. Staying on top of the trends and new hair techniques keeps work fun! It also fuels my passion and keeps me inspired.

My main goal as a stylist is to make my clients happy! I want to help others smile and feel good in their own skin. I am a firm believer in living your life as authentically as you can! As someone who is on her self love and self discovery journey, I have learned how important it is to do things for yourself. Do what makes you happy! And if that means completely changing your color or cut then I am here for it and I will support you every step of the way! Hair is a beautiful form of self-expression, creativity, and a great confidence booster.

Some fun facts about me: time is my love language. I think time is so precious and valuable therefore I am always aiming to be present and pay attention to what’s in front of me. I like to approach life in an optimistic kind of way (glass half full kind of gal). I am very silly and will randomly dance if I hear a good tune playing. I have a toy poodle mix that I love so much! I am originally from Florida so I’m low key a Disney nerd. And lastly, I am always up for an adventure. I thrive off of being outdoors on top of a mountain, at the beach, or traveling to a new place.

Well thanks for taking the time to read about me! I am so thrilled to be a part of the verde team! I love meeting new people and hope to learn about others as well.
